Gyan Barik from Facilitracks will give an intro to tracking high value items in a hospital campus. An interesting case study of using consumer tags and raspberry pi for a very common building management task. http://facilitracks.com/
Also, a demonstration of the Pycom LoPy devices transmitting data between devices. This is a simple (and easy) intro to using LoRa wireless to send data remotely. The Pycom units use MicroPython code and make it very easy to prototype real world sensing systems. Look out for a workshop date in the near future to learn more. https://www.pycom.io/product/lopy/
We'll also have an update from John and Rob Hanks on our events for Techweek. This is collaboration with AR/VR Association and will be a significant event for us all. We need support and help to make this a success - please volunteer to make this an awesome experience.
